MILOU RODRIGUES
Born, raised, and rooted in Providence, Milou Rodrigues embodies a lifelong commitment to her community. A proud Central High School alumni, she has dedicated over 33 years to the Providence Public School Department, tirelessly guiding and enriching the lives of students and families in the city she loves.

Beyond the classroom, Milou has built an impeccable reputation as the most trustworthy cashier in Providence, working at the city’s busiest nightclubs and events. Her evenings often find her supporting her local women’s shelter, where she offers a helping hand and a compassionate heart.

Proudly 100% Cape Verdean, Milou is the second youngest of 11 siblings. She stands as the matriarch of her large family, ensuring that they remain close-knit and connected. After raising a son and daughter, she now takes immense pride in her role as “Mema” to three grandsons—Jabari, Jordan, and DJ—two of whom attend Bishop Hendricken and one at Bishop McVinney.
When she isn’t dedicating her time to others, Milou enjoys traveling, socializing, and making cherished memories with loved ones. Her greatest accomplishment? Becoming the inspiring woman she is today—a beacon of strength, resilience, and love in her community.

Looking ahead, Milou remains steadfast in her mission to uplift and empower those around her, continuing her legacy of support and encouragement for future generations.
